Project Scheduling And Cost Planning Skills Workshop

  • Overview

INTRODUCTION

This project management training course focuses on creating thorough, trustworthy plans with time and cost estimates that provide the project's owner or sponsor high levels of project delivery confidence. Plans must also be realistic and take into account all hazards that may arise both during and after the project lifespan.

The decision to move forward with a project is based on preliminary, conceptually high-level estimates. However, given their large range, more precise predictions must serve as the foundation for the cash flow projections and schedule forecasts.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

By the end of the course, participants should be able to:

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage schedule, cost, scope, and resource risks.
  • Confidently estimate project timeframes and costs with suitable resource management plans.
  • Develop a project recovery strategy for budget and schedule overruns by understanding how to measure, anticipate, and regulate project performance using earned value methodologies.
