INTRODUCTION
The process of child-centered disaster risk reduction (CCDRR) aims to increase community resilience. Through influencing individuals, peer groups, and other stakeholders to attain community resilience in times of crisis, children become activists and organize the community. CCDDR supports national action plans for kids by empowering kids and the community at large to reduce disaster risk.
By enabling kids to begin the risk identification process while also evaluating their results with adults, the program aims to ensure that children are placed at the heart of the CBDRM process, assuring their active participation in disaster risk reduction.
