Gender Mainstreaming In Agriculture And Rural Development Seminar

  • Overview

INTRODUCTION

Gender equality also plays a significant role in the accomplishment of these goals. Agriculture is essential to the rural poor's lives and to the achievement of appropriate development goals. The distribution of resources between men and women is impacted by gender inequalities that result from socially created connections between them, and this leads to several development discrepancies. Because agriculture can be the growth engine needed to lower food insecurity and rural poverty, gender concerns must be addressed. Therefore, the goal of this training program is to assist participants in addressing gender issues and incorporating gender-responsive measures into the planning and execution of agricultural projects and rural development initiatives.
